Re: Loki and Hermes and Hermod and Open
Hermod had been fuming for days about Loki being free. More than days, he had been holding in his anger for centuries. Now Loki was free from his punishment and at a beach party. Balder and Hod were still dead and now Bragi was missing. It was not right. Aided by the mysterious alcoholic contents of a glass he had just drained, the Messenger decided that someone needed to tell Loki to get out.
He left Sif and walked directly to where Loki was chatting with Hermes. That was bad enough, but then some other girl came up and kissed Loki. On the mouth! Okay, that was it. He had started to think that maybe talking to Loki was not such a good idea, but he was kissing other women at the same party his wife was at? That was going too far.
“Hey! Loki!” He thought probably should lower his voice, just a little. “What the hell, man? You’re kissing other women? Right in front of Sigyn?” Not exactly, but he was sure Sigyn was around here somewhere. He walked right up and stood directly in front of the Trickster. He had forgotten that Loki was taller than he was.
“Kind of funny how you show up right when Bragi goes missing. I bet you’re going to be the big hero and suddenly find him and bring him home, right? Perfect way to get back into Odin’s good graces.” He hadn’t thought of that before, but it did make perfect sense. His father was likely to reward anyone that helped them find Bragi.
