Re: Vidar, Lottie, Open to Anyone
His lips were warm. For some reason, Lottie had thought they'd be cooler, but they weren't. They were warm and firm, and she could tell the kiss had taken him by surprise because he was still. But that was alright, because she was just proving a point. She was his date, and she would be doing the kisses. At least for tonight. This was their first date, she wasn't going to make him get her name tattooed on his butt or anything. Yet.
Though anger had motivated her to grab him, as soon as her lips touched his, that emotion began fading almost instantly, like it was just leaching out of her skin. She felt almost hollow as she let go of the bad feelings, and her lips began to curve just a bit. She really ought to thank Vidar for being such good therapy, that would be the best way to explain away her sudden aggressive move. Yes, that's what she would do.
At least that was her plan. Until Vidar started kissing her back.
And then her brain melted.
Philotes lost track of where she was, what was going on around her, why she was even there at all. Everything in her world was focused to those points where her body contacted his, concentrated most in the heat of his mouth against hers. Without meaning to, without knowing that she did so, Lottie let out a small noise that was not quite a sigh and not quite a squeak, but a breathy combination of the two. It was an involuntary response to her brain melting and running down her spine, through her chest, into her belly. That hollow feeling felt both sharper and sweeter with the melted bits of her making it warmer.
If he kept kissing her, she might melt away into the sand completely, and then she'd lose this wonderful, bright feeling that was trying to push out of her chest. Reluctantly, Lottie pulled back, just slightly, just enough to barely break the kiss with the thought in the back of her mind that once she was a little more solid she could see if he'd make her melty again. It was a barely coherent thought, and it grew less cohesive as she looked into the blue, blue eyes that were so close to hers. Maybe melting away wouldn't be so bad, as long as he was the one causing it.
