Re: Vidar, Lottie, Open to Anyone
He could tell that Lottie was not at all happy about the kiss he had just received. She looked like she wanted to throw the other girl off the highest mountain. He would have felt the same way if some stranger walked up and kissed his date. He actually would have most likely would have followed through with that threat. She also looked like she wanted to throw him off that mountain too.
Lottie seemed to calm down about him after he told her that he had no idea who that girl was. He really didn’t. He would never have asked Lottie out if he had been seeing someone else. That really would not be fair to anyone. He would never be able to keep it straight with who he had a date with on any particular night. He didn’t know how anyone could do that.
Vidar was about to suggest they get a drink. He was hoping alcohol would wash the kiss off him. Not to insult the kisser, he just didn’t want her lingering when he kissed Lottie. He wanted their first kiss to be special.
As he moved to ask her about that drink, he felt her grab the front of his T-shirt. He blinked in surprise. He had never expected her to get physical like that. He was afraid he had read her wrong and that she was going to hit him. Boy, was he ever wrong. Vidar felt her pulling him down to her level and then he felt her lips on his. There was really only one thing he could do about that.
He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back.
