Re: Isis, Thoth, Sigyn and OPEN
Thoth listened and listened well. It was one of his greatest skills, he knew that. But beyond that was his skill at deductive reasoning. Sigyn wanted help, but she didn't know where to start. He could give guidance without getting directly involved. The less involved he was the better it was should this come to blows between pantheons or even civil-unrest in a single pantheon. The less involved Kemet was in this problem of the Norse's the better.
He knew Isis was doing what she could too, without getting too involved. She would understand that it was a precarious position to be in. If Odin and Frigg came calling for assistance themselves, that was another matter. There was still politics involved, but then Kemet could not be blamed for sticking it's nose in others' business when it wasn't requested formally by those in charge.
While he listened, he formulated a few ideas about the crime that had been committed against Bragi. It was piecing together easily for him, the more he thought on it. “Sigyn,” he said and nodded his head, “I understand that given your limited exposure to your pantheon over the ages you may not know, but the first place to look would be with anyone that Bragi may have been acquainted with enough to know of his Boston home.”
It seemed so simple that Thoth was going to be very surprised if Odin hadn't already considered this course, or maybe Idun herself, but it was possible that in the heat of emotion things were not looked at in a detached and logical way. “If the candlestick was the weapon used for incapacitating Bragi before he could be pulled away, then whoever the attacker and possible abductor is, did it on impulse. If there had been intention, there would have been more a proper weapon used and it wouldn't have been left at the crime scene.” Thoth thought a moment further. “So someone erratic and impulsive and perhaps reckless.”
