Sif, Hermod, and Open
He blushed even harder when his Sif mentioned her bra. Why did women do these things? Did they like embarrassing men by talking about their undergarments? Was it some kind of freaky thrill? He doubted he would ever get an answer to that, but he truly wished they would stop doing it to him.
He looked over and watched as Thor walked away. He knew his brother had to have heard him talking to Sif, but he left anyway. Thor probably thought Hermod would chase after him. Not this time. The messenger was tired of being overlooked by his brothers. He might not be the fiercest warrior, but he had already proven that he had them all on bravery. If Thor was too busy to talk to him, then screw him. Hermod would just report to his father or Vidar.
“He doesn’t want to see me either, it seems,” he muttered softly. Then he remembered who he was with. “Sorry. He’s just busy, I guess.” He could not believe Sif was having a hard time getting someone to agree to let her help look for Bragi. Hermod thought that the more eyes looking, the more likely they were to find him. Someone can easily spot something that was overlooked before. They were letting the Greeks in on the search, so why not everyone from Bragi’s own pantheon?
“I would love any help, Sif,’ he said, giving her a slight smile. “I’m not really sure how, but maybe talk to your friends? See if there has been anything out of the ordinary going on recently.”
He looked around, trying to see if his parents were here yet. He saw Vidar. And he was with Lottie. Hermod didn’t even realize they knew each other. He was going to have to go say hi and get this story from his old friend.
He was about to excuse himself to Sif and head over when he saw someone else. Loki. He was here. At this party. “What the fuck?” Hermod had no reason to doubt his father’s belief that Loki was innocent in Bragi’s disappearance, but he did doubt Loki’s word on it. Why would anyone assume the Trickster was being honest? He had taken two of Odin’s sons before, so what was a third? He was going to go do something about that.
