Re: Vidar, Lottie, Eris Leaving, Open to Anyone
He felt bad for Lottie. She was so obviously concerned about Bragi and Idun. She wasn’t talking as much as she usually did. That had him a bit worried. He wished he knew what to say to make her feel better. He settled for giving her a hug. It might not be the perfect place for such a thing, but he thought she could use it.
He didn’t hold her for long. There were a few too many people around and he felt that he and Lottie were too new in this possible… Relationship? He wasn’t sure. He was kind of new to dating thing and wasn’t sure. But he was going to make certain she had a good time in spite of the troubles with Bragi. He thought her suggestion of food would be a good place to start. Then they could go get some drinks.
He kept one arm around her shoulders and began to steer them toward the buffet. That was when something very strange happened. A goddess that he did not know came over to them and welcomed them to the party. He did not think she was actually Ninkasi. She seemed a little too pale for a Sumerian. Before he could thank her for the lei, she pulled him close and kissed him. Vidar just blinked a few times as she gave his date two thumbs up and wandered back into the crowd.
The silent god looked at Lottie and shrugged. He opened his mouth but then closed it again. What could he say about that? He had no idea if that was a normal greeting for her pantheon.
“I don’t know her.” He thought a good defense was needed now.
