Re: Tag: Thor
There was no missing Thor's pulling away from her, or his cold, detached response. It made her both want to creep away and lash out at the same time. She did neither.
They may have been separated for a long time, but they were still married. Sif had realized long ago that while he wanted nothing to do with her, he also would never release her. He didn't want her, but his pride refused letting her go. It mattered little to Sif. She doubted he had been faithful himself in the years since their initial separation; Thor was far too virile a man for solitude. For herself, she had no desire to begin a new relationship, so what need had she for a mandate from Frigg?
She wondered if he would understand. Sif was far removed from Asgard now, but these people were still her family, and she still saw some of them from time to time. Bragi and Idun among them.
"I wanted to ask what I could do to help?" She spoke softly, something she had learned to do so long ago it was almost second nature. They had their spats, and Sif could be just as vocal as her husband. But if she wanted him receptive, she knew soothing calm was required.
She didn't elaborate on what she wanted to help with. It stood to reason that the current crisis was the foremost topic in everyone's minds right now.
