Reunion [tag: Aphrodite]
She had been putting this off for long enough.
Even after the necklace had been procured, and what an adventure that had been, Harmonia had put off going to see her mother. Even with Philotes' poking and prodding, encouraging her that yes Aphrodite had in fact given the information about the necklace to her to tell Harmonia about, she still put off going to see her mother. Even now, as Harmonia stood at the threshold to her mother's Olympic temple, a place that had been her own home for her childhood and even up until she was married off, she stalled.
Balance raised a hand as if to press the door open then withdrew it moments before it actually came in contact with the door. She walked a few paces away, looking out over Olympus and stuck a hand in the pocket of her pants to touch the necklace that was hidden there. It hadn't left her side since she'd acquired it back.
Taking a deep breath Harmonia tried to regain the strength that brought her to her mother's door to begin with.
What was making her hesitate?
There was an ingrained fear that perhaps her mother didn't really care that she was back. But then Balance remembered the reunion she'd had with Deimos and she turned back around, took her hand out of her pocket, rubbed her hands together and then wiped the rather sweaty palms on her pants. Taking a deep breath, she pushed the door open.
“Mother?” She called nervously as she crossed the threshold. The temple seemed bigger and more grand than she remembered it. Perhaps that was at the aid of modern décor, perhaps it was how long Harmonia had been away from it. “Mother?”
