Harmonia had been excited before, but mostly nervous about how meeting her brother for the first time in ages was going to go, but Philotes had still managed to get her a little wound up with excitement. But then Balance had been confused by the technological side of it. It was like the movies and grasping the concepts of things. The gadgets and gizmos in those Mission Impossible movies Philotes made her watch just baffled Balance. She had no idea what made them function, let alone how they helped in thoughtful application of what they were going to do.
Cell phones, radar jammers, little things that went beep and boop -those made zero sense to Balance. Bags of sand and booby traps and whips and non-electronic adventure -that she could grasp the concepts of. Really, she was trying. It was just trying to absorb the changes to the culture. Harmonia was a simple girl in a new high-tech digital world and was just trying to put things in a way that made sense for her.
Which was why when Deimos looked so utterly pleased with her, she glowed with a grin spanning from ear to ear. She didn't even care that thievery was wrong. Harmonia was justifying it by telling herself that it was her necklace to begin with. “Let's do this.” She said with a rather excited bounce. “And for the record, I wouldn't be able to do without either of you. Just let get grab the damn thing myself, so none of you get it's bad mojo on you... I don't know how it works on other gods... or even if it works on other gods, so better safe than sorry. We're a team.”
Then she directed her gaze solely on her brother. “And if you harm one hair on Lottie' head, Dei, I'll throttle you.” She was only teasing, of course, because she didn't believe for one second that her brother would hurt her best friend.
