Just as Athena thought that maybe no one actually was around, she heard something. The sound of wings perhaps, or footsteps. She turned around and went for the door to open it. It could have been anyone of course. And maybe she hadn't really been around enough. People didn't know when she was just going to drop by, so she shouldn't have been so surprised that it was Iris there standing at the door.
"Iris, hello." Of course she wasn't an idiot. Whatever Athena said to her was going to be taken back to Hera. Not that it really mattered, Athena didn't have anything to hide, and she didn't quite care what Hera knew. She didn't smile. Seeing Athena with an actual smile was a rare feat. Something she reserved for her father, or someone who could actually make her laugh.
"I was just wondering if there was anyone about. I guess I kind of just dropped in without announcing I was coming. Everyone out?" she asked, gazing around slightly as if to make her point. Apparently daddy was out for the .. day maybe? One way to find out.
