Blabbermouths (tag: Tyr)
It was time. Time to go out and see what the family has been up to. Vidar had no idea how long it had been since he had last seen his father or brothers. He never was good at keeping track of time. There wasn’t much need for it when he was at home or off climbing somewhere. But he was aware that it had been a long time.
He had to think of where to start. His father may be busy handling concerns of the pantheon and Hermod was always hard to catch up with. Thor is easy to find, but visits with him depended on his mood at the time. It was always easier for Vidar to start with someone simpler to deal with whenever he wanted to be social.
So he went to find Tyr. That particular half-brother was, in Vidar’s opinion, much less complicated than the others. He didn’t want any fuss over his reemergence from his secluded home. And he knew he could count on Tyr to welcome him without any fanfare. If memory served him correctly, Tyr didn’t even have servants running around either. The fewer people he had to talk to, the better.
Vidar headed to Denmark, remembering Tyr’s house near the lake that bears his name. The silent Nord smiled to himself. He wondered how it felt to have things named after you. He didn’t feel jealous or neglected for not having things with his name attached. It was just something for to think about at a later date.
He arrived at his brother’s house and had to think about the proper etiquette. Should he just walk in or knock? It was probably best not to surprise a warrior as good as Tyr. Vidar knocked and waited for his brother to invite him in.
