When she got to the Cairo Tower, she looked around cautiously. Curiously. She sensed two divine presences; one was her brother's, while the other was a stranger to her mind. Oh, please, don't let him be causing more trouble! The likelihood of Set interacting positively with someone else was slim at best. And there was enough to be done without needing to clean up another of his messes.
Yet when she got to the top of the tower, slowly circling the walkway, she only saw the stranger. Where was Set? The box with the transfigured God was hidden from her sight next to the unknown deity ahead of her.
She didn't understand. The last she knew, her brother was unable to become invisible (Thank the Gods!), but she knew he was here. The unknown god was just sitting there, and while he appeared to be troubled about something, he didn't look as if he'd had a recent altercation with Set. Things were far too calm for that to have been the case.
She glanced around quickly. Nothing appeared broken or smoking. The railing was intact. The man before her was unharmed. There just was no evidence Set had ever been here.
"Excuse me? I hate to intrude, but I'm Isis, and I'm looking for my brother, Set. He should be here, but..." she spread her arm wide, indicating that obviously there was no one else about. "...he doesn't seem to be around. I must admit, that has me a little puzzled. Have you seen anyone else up here?"
She had no idea she was in for one of the biggest shocks of her life.
