Deep thoughts (Narrative)
Coming back to this place, to see people he'd known in an entirely different lifetime, had turned out to be a lot different than he'd imagine it would. And he hadn't even gotten to any of the bigger names and bigger faces from his time.
He supposed that would be even more interesting than things had been so far.
Despite the fact the he was doing the almost-Zen thing and putting the past behind him, he had to admit that not a lot of other people in the Greek world were of the same ideals. They liked to hold onto things, dwell, as it were. He could see some of the people he'd left here because doing just that.
Not that he was going to avoid any of them.
No, the sooner they knew he was back, the better. Though he wasn't sure how anybody could have missed his return. It had stirred up enough in the people he'd met, and they hadn't even known him that well back then.
Family was such an odd thing.
Did that mean he was going to seek them out, though? Was he going to go find Styx? Was he going to show up at her door and say 'Hiya, toots, remember me? Her boys had warned him off of that. Giving him veiled and not so veiled threats to his health if he decided to make himself known to her.
