so things have been a little slow, to say the least, and i know i haven't really done anything to help the situation... i'd really like us to get things rolling and everyone interacting, so are there any kind of events or something y'all would like to happen in deercliff? maybe we can do an AIM group chat and plot some! let us know if you've got any ideas. thanks!

Hey everyone!

So I was going to wait on the intro to the game until I submitted my other girl (who will be apped today anyway), but then there was a death in the family and things got messy.

Now that I'm back, I'm just going to go ahead and intro this girl now to get going as I submit the other.

This is Daniella Donovan, who goes by Dani. She has the personality of Sirius Black, and is so related to the canon Black characters in game already. She dropped out of school and runs and owns The Marauders, a nightclub. She also works every now and then at the mechanics, but fixing and maintaining motorcycles is more of a hobby these days.

Any plot for her is loved and welcomed. I'll just add to this post if the other girl gets accepted. I'm excited to be here.

Emma JUST MOVED to Deercliff, following her friend Harlow (Dean) because Harlow doesn't know how to stay out of trouble, dammit. Emma has transfered to the college and needs money like woah, so she'll be looking for a job (or jobs) fairly soon.

Hello! I'm Nicole and I'm new here, bringing you Dakota/The Cheshire Cat. I've already plotted out a few connections, but I am always looking for more!

Dakota is a dancer at Phoenix Nights and she has been known to sell drugs on the side, usually to high school and college kids. She tries to keep that on the DL for obvious reasons, plus she is kind of ashamed that she got into that line of work. Not that she's exactly proud to be a stripper either, but hey, it pays the bills. Overall, she's a sweet girl with a messy past and some trust issues. I'm open for any sort of ideas that come up, but I would love for her to develop some solid friendships in-game, and I'd love for her to crush on someone because I think that would be adorable (totally up to the player if its reciprocal or not). Can't wait to play!

Guess who has a character making problem~ The answer is Taylor because I am currently introducing my third character.

This is Hariel Fitzsimmons also goes by El, and based on Harry Potter. She's originally from the west coast and came to Deercliff almost four years ago after essentially backpacking across the country to escape a stalker. She works at a bakery downtown (Honey Doe,) and teaches a women's self defense class two nights a week. Outside the bakery she tries to put on a tough face, but the truth is she's a big old bag of emotions and that friend who always brings baked goods when she comes to hang out.

Hi I’m Kasey and I have two here (because I can never choose just one...).

First is Adelaide Pierce (shinylady) though she goes by Addie because Adelaide is just way too long and formal. Addie is based on Kaylee Frye from Firefly. She loves working on engines and getting her hands dirty with a good fix it project. The only thing she might love more than that is people. It doesn’t matter who they are Addie loves to talk and meet new people and is a bit overly friendly (think giant golden retriever). She’s an all-around nice girl who just wants to be everyone’s friend, so yeah she could use a lot of them.

Next there is Isabelle Forester (thecakewasalie) who is based on Caroline/GLaDOS from Portal. Once upon a time Isabelle was a sweet helpful girl who worked hard. Then she got a dream job and her boss threw her in with the sharks to teach her to swim (of course he did it with the best intentions). And boy did she learn how to swim. She’s super sarcastic and cut throat but she loves her job and works super hard to be the best to the point of being a workaholic. I’m sorry in advance for about 90% of the things that will come out of her mouth.

the official opening was supposed to be yesterday (friday), but i feel like we're a little undercast at the moment. though we WILL be open, and y'all can totally start playing, i'm going to call this a soft opening, and the ~GRAND OPENING~ will be on july 11. we'll have a mixer event so the characters can get to know each other if they don't already. in the meantime, you can start threading, add your wanted storylines to the storyline page, or make another character! thanks for being awesome ♥

Hi, I'm Taylor and this is my girl Olive Oswald.

Olive is a sophomore mechanical engineering major at Deercliff U, inspired by Peter Parker aka Spider-man. As such she's also an avid photographer with ties to the school newspaper and has a penchant for climbing tall things she probably shouldn't. If you're curious you can read all about her here
