The lack of bullets and the gap of time that the other had left while charging his next attack was far too long. Vic slammed into the other, driving him backwards and forcing his arm out wide so the gun was pointed at empty air.
He continued his forward drive, Vic stopped only when he had his prey slammed against the nearest vertical surface and off the ground with a hand around his throat. As his hand tightened, Vic let loose a contented purr.
"Well that was fun," he grinned all fangs and malice, "Looks like the cat has you now."
