The rain began to taper off, though the sky remained overcast. Scattered in the mass of mud, there is the muffled sound of moans as the zombies caught in the slide slowly begin to work their way free.

As the rain lets up, the chances of mudslides decreases, though they are still a threat as more rain comes in.

It had rained constantly for three days and the deluge of water was finally starting to take its toll on the surrounding area. At first it started as flooding and swollen streams. That had been the first day. The second brown the rich brown of mud churning down the hills where the land had been bared. Small slides of mud and debris that did nothing more than muck up the land.

Now, however, after three straight days of heavy rain, the surrounding hills seemed ready to burst apart in torrents of mud, stone and trees. It wasn't until late in the day as the sun was dipping below the crest of the surrounding hills that the inevitable and deadly happened.

It started as nothing more than an ominous rumble, but before long the hills to the west looked as if they had simply shed their skin when in truth tons upon tons of those same hillsides were sliding straight for the town.

(mod: So there you have it boys and girls. The town is under siege. Under siege from mother nature. Now this mudslide won't do more than breach the defense walls and make a good bit of damage to the nearest buildings. Look for another update sometime tomorrow and don't forget it's still raining.)
