"Yeah you have..." Dora trailed off, crossing her thin arms one over the other as if giving herself a hug. This was harder than she had anticipated. Part of her had thought it was be joyous and that maybe now they had reached another level but instead it felt like she had somehow taken a very unwelcome voyage into the childhood of a complicated man who struggled to let anyone in.
He looked violated and broken and now because she had seen who he once was, realized how very weary and world worn he had become. He had been so certain he was unworthy and unwanted before, now she wondered how in the world she was going to convince him that she truly wanted all of him. All.
"Remus I just walked in and out of a cave, they did not even noticed that I was gone I don't think. Rodrick made some comment about me being the last to get back but honestly I wasn't paying that much attention." She shrugged as she watched him, her heart aching.
