At this point he was dragging. All of his emotions were at baseline and his physical strength was certainly waning. This time, so close to the moon, it was hard for him to handle such stresses. It would be relieved but also conflicted with the full moon which Dora knew.
Still, she stood and met his eyes as he flicked his wand and it lit the fireplace to better light the room. His place was absolutely nothing spectacular. It had been a place in the city his family had left him and he used it as a place to crash. It wasn't his ideal location in the middle of town but it worked for what he needed it to.
Taking a few steps forward after he shed his cloak he watched her with narrowed eyes as she stood and took a step towards him. Then she blurted out what happened and he found himself collapsing against the armchair closest. His heart hammered with acknowledgement and his eyes watered at her words. It was like he was struck but the emotional effect had the same gut punch reaction.
He slid into the seat numbly and bowed his head between his legs, running his hands through his medium length dirty blonde hair. "I.." he started, but damn near choked on his words. Remus gathered his strength as his hands shook. He honestly couldn't believe the time had finally come. "I will never blame you Dora..." He shook his head before looking up, his lip trembling just at the knowledge of her finally remembering. "That happened even without your visit." Though it had all worked up to this, hadn't it? Finally they were proper ages and in the proper time in their life and suddenly here it was.
"You... you made it back," he summoned the words, raking a hand through his hair as he sat up properly.
