Rabastan was far more tolerable than any of Bellatrix's sisters had ever been. It wasn't just his breeding but also his attitude. He was almost a younger, less evil version of Rodolphus. And that in itself was less attractive to her. She smirked at his words but she only had eyes for her husband right now who glared at his brother.
When he looked away to their Mother she also peered around. Lady Lestrange had the same expression as her own Mother who was glaring from the other side of the room. Though before she could just roll her eyes and ignore her Bella's sister also trotted up to them. Rodo didn't exactly appreciate her sister especially after she had confronted them at the bar but she gave into the conversation all the same.
"What, Narcissa?"
"Mother isn't exactly happy with you." Though she smiled broadly at her new bother-in-law's face. "But it looks like his Mother isn't happy either."
"Not happy about me marrying my betrothed?" She rolled her eyes. "Mother can deal and maybe when you marry Malfoy she can have her perfect wedding. Now leave before I make you." Narcissa sneered and stomped back off to her Mother and then her date to report on her interaction.
"Cake to go," she finally commented, "would be fabulous." Her eyes glowed against the face he had set.
