Still focusing in on the broom question as the most important part of the conversation, Florean thought over Regulus' suggestion of trying to get some data by flying in the Great Hall. He was still upside down, but it wasn't concerning him very much. He felt his shirt sliding up - down? - over his stomach, and wriggled a bit to keep it from falling down far enough to get in his face. "We could do a bit of test flying in the Great Hall, I suppose," he said slowly. "But it wouldn't be ideal." Finally deciding, he shook his head. "No. No, the Great Hall wouldn't work. The area isn't large enough. I'd have to keep turning to avoid running into walls and people and things. That would mean centrifugal force would become a factor. It'd ruin the results."
Florean took a moment to just admire Regulus' grin. It was a very nice grin. Really, he could spend quite a lot of moments quite contently, just looking at it some more. "I am upside down," he agreed, with a glance at his tumbling shirt. "I suppose you could use my trunk as an anchor," he suggested. "It's much heavier than you might expect. It's got all my supplies in it, you know. It was a gift from my sister. It opens into different compartments, depending on which keys you use. Very handy, but also very heavy."
Florean couldn't fight the urge to do one more twirl, giggling as he went, before speaking again. It really was very entertaining, seeing the room spin like that. "I don't mind being upside down, of course. I expect I might in a couple of minutes, when the blood rushing to my head starts to bother me, but right now I am perfectly satisfied." Cheerfully, he reached out and took hold of the other boy's shoulder, pulling himself toward him. "It's quite a nice vantage point, I think," he declared, before kissing Regulus playfully on the tip of his nose.
