While some of what Florean was talking about went straight over Regulus' head, he still managed to get the gist of of it. Besides, his intelligence was one of the things that attracted Regulus to him in the first place. "Well, there is still the Great Hall? Or there would be if I had my broom nearby. I'm not sure if we could fly as fast as we'd need to for the experiment to work or not, but of course I'd be willing. Assuming that you still are by the time I can get to my broomstick." Although as long as he was still as high as he was, in several different meanings, maybe he'd still be okay with it? He hadn't heard Florean complain once about floating. "There isn't any way I'm going to go outside to try this. I've already had two relatives try to fry themselves, I'm not making a third."
Regulus couldn't help but laugh as the other boy did a flip in the air as he tried to tie on the rope. He never knew what it was like to fly without a broomstick and it was likely he never would. It almost wasn't fair that it was almost enviable to have an allergy. Even if he wasn't quite sure what the other side effects might be. Regulus really hoped it was alright, bringing him back here instead of the infirmary.
"Hi!" Regulus tilted his head and grinned back at Florean. "You're upside down. Do you know that?" It was a little bit better, though. He might not be on solid ground quite yet, but he was getting there. "I think it might help if we anchored you down a little bit more. I'll conjure some more rope, but do you have anything else heavy? That maybe we could tie to your waist?"
