Her journal isn't exactly set up yet, but I'm closing then opening so this is the time I have to introduce her.
This is Lo again with my fourth (and hopefully last, because I am insane) character, Rebecca Gilligan. You might know her best though as one of the many names she'll use in the future: Mrs. Zabini.
For now Rebecca is just fifteen. She's a fifth year Slytherin, quite vain and proud and very independent. She loves the power her looks give her over boys, but she's not exactly ready to commit. (And if her future track record says anything, I guess she never will be?) She's far from the first professional widow in her family. Her mother was widowed by an older, wealthy man when Rebecca was only two by very strange circumstances. You can read more about that in her history and, yes, I'm sure people talked and probably still do.
While Becca thinks boys are primarily for using, she is a very loyal friend to girls and, lets face it, boys that may as well be one of the girls. (I think we already decided they'd be friends, Christie?) If you're one of hers, she would help you move or help you move a body. She's great at potions and those that have done anything to offend those closest to her have probably suffered the effects.
She's also a purist, classist bitch and not afraid to show it. While she's quite disdainful to muggleborns and those that supports them, she will likely not put her loyalty with Voldemort. That kind of commitment is forever, and very much isn't one she could make.
