Hello everyone! I'm Cass and this is Sybill Trelawney. She's a seventh year Ravenclaw and she can tell you things about your future that might be useful. Sometimes. So long as you don't cloud her inner eye.

Basically, she's a sweetheart, likes to help people, adores her younger brother Cassian (who is a fourth year Puff), hateshateshates conflict, loves divination, is more than a little bit gullible, not very confident, worries a lot and is terribly stubborn.

I would love and adore plot of any and every sort! Housemates, friends, enemies, sceptics, romance, absolutely anything.

I am sure a few of you are a bit put off in terms of where we currently are in the game, and are wondering what is in your character's future.

Right now we are looking at the end of the Amortentia effects with everyone recovering from the embarrassment and bad ideas. That being said, we are going to try and get the game back on schedule with real time. The dragons have been collected and mobilized by a group of experts, and the letters that parents had sent during the fray demanding their children now lay in heaps upon the tables in the Great Hall. Your mother and father did notice, but it was quite the challenge trying to get trainers close enough to the castle to move the fire-breathing beasts. This fact, however, is rarely entertained by frantic family members - the Wizarding community is outraged.

In an attempt to placate the families, the Headmaster has arranged for the students to have a brief - albeit late - Winter Break. That means all students are able to go home on January 1st and will be expected to return on February 1st. (Now, we realize this gives you three days to play out a month, but we figured students would be more eager to relay stories than you would be to thread them out. Backdate if you're determined.)

Classes will resume on February 2nd.

Two weekends from that Hogwarts will host its first Quidditch game of the season. Considering all of the events the school has been forced to endure, we can assume that everyone's favorite sport was postponed indefinitely. Now, however, it is back in full swing, and we will be seeing games approaching rapidly to ensure all Houses get the opportunity to play. Teams can practice during the holidays - namely Slytherin and Gryffindor since they will be playing first!

All of this (and more) can be seen with the newest element to DMR: our calender and record of upcoming events. Check back once in a while to find updates and approaching occasions.

As an afterthought, we would appreciate if you guys would advertise, invite fellow players, and do what you can to be active. Although we do face lulls, characters should be writing and plotting with each other. Development is key. Check the House points! Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff have fallen into fourth and third place respectively! Let's get working to fix this.

Equally, since it's totally friday in some parts of the world....I'm going to go ahead and start the love potion plot.

Dumbledore, though mysterious means, (not really), managed to get treats for the whole school. This being two kinds of flavored cookies and a whole lot of crisps. If you liked something as a teen, you were stuck in school and Dumbledore called off classes for Friday, for an early weekend kind of thing, you would so stuff your face. Don't even lie.

So now you have two options.

If you eat a pink marshmallow cookie first: you will find ONE person you absolutely love and that will be your object of desire for 72 hours. READ EM. SEVENTY-TWO.

If you eat a green caramel cookie first: you will be terribly conflicted and possibly love two people at the same time or three. Possibly four. Maybe the entire castle.

What Dumbledore didn't realize, and couldn't have known, was that a disgruntled employee that made the cookies (because they're usually supposed to just make you want to dance and enjoy yourself) went ahead and dumped a whole bunch of love potion into the cookie mixes. Because he wanted to see what would happen when they went out and people did stupid things. He wanted to get the employer sued or mauled by kelpies--something. So now you get to deal with the consequences over a bad day at work.

Alright, kid faces. It's thursday, so I might as well make some plot with you. Chase here is bored. So he went up and talked with Sirius Black and together, they managed to get another case of billywigs.

He WAS preparing to release them around Friday, but SOMEHOW, they got loose today. I'm sorry and you're welcome. So let's get high together because there's nothing better than a billywig sting to kind of start the weekend.

Yea, whaddup this is Edgar Bones.

He's an older brother of a boy, Hufflepuff Prefect and Seeker, kind of an all around good guy. He's on the path to be an Auror, loyal to the Order and his younger sister, and overly logical. If you need help with your studies, he is a tutor of his own freewill and comes for free. Other than those gems of information, he's a chess player and will happily be challenged to a game. He's very helpful (almost annoyingly so) and hopes to make a difference in the world.

Hi, I'm really sorry that I didn't post sooner, things have been a little crazy at school. I'm Kaytee, and I'm new to the game. This is Emilia Yaxley, shes the younger sister of Aidan and she's a 5th year Hufflepuff. The details are on her profile, but basically Emilia is very much a proper, sweet pureblood lady and proud of that role. Shes definitely not death eater material, though, basically because she's just too nice to actually be prejudiced like that. Right now though she's supporting her family, although she isn't really close to any of them, and her family supports Voldemort so she'll be keeping her mouth shut about politics, especially since her younger sister was killed by muggleborn extremists recently.

I guess she needs pretty much everything, friends, enemies and the like. Anything would be alright, really. My a.i.m. sn is griffinchild21.

hiatus-type thingie!

HEY GUYS. I am the queen of last-minute-ness, but this kept slipping my mind. XD

I'm leaving in a little less than an hour and will be gone until sometime late Saturday evening most likely. I'm going with my fiancé to meet his family, and while I can check my mail and even sorta check the game on my phone (yay There's-An-App-For-That!), that hinges very strongly on a.) quality of signal and b.) amount of time spent not being scrutinized by my future extended in-law family.

SO. While I might be able to peek at the game and get notifs and maybe even comment possibly, I'll pretty much be gone for the next few days.

So .. yes. If you need to reach me, e-mail is definitely the best option unless you happen to have my cell number, in which case texting is probably quicker. But I'll try to check my e-mail at least once a day.

I've been in kind of a RPing slump with them (most of my creative juices for them have been going into fics XD) and I need to break out of it by giving them some shit to do. IT doesn't matter what it is...random gossiping, a short thread about trying to do something without magic, ANYTHING.

I'm just sort of sad that I've been slacking here but I don't know what to have them post as journal entries since they haven't had much plot in the past two weeks...which is my fault :P

Okay guys, I'm been kinda disappeared for the last week or so and sadly that is going to continue until Friday/Saturday-ish. That is when my fall break starts and I will have a little time to breathe.

Hihihihihi! My name is Becks and I'm EVER SO PLEASED to bring you Rabastan Lestrange. Younger brother of Rodolphus. Decidedly less in your face, but no less self-assured. More of a silent-leader type than one who seeks spotlight twenty four seven.

I don't have enough time to give you a full rundown, regrettably, as I have class in < fifteen minutes, but you can find his full character information over heeereeee as well as on his userinfo page (currently this just has limited personality and history; the full profile will be there soon. Promise. Since that's a lot easier to find than the app post.)

Plot is love and I'd love to get the ball rolling on some- even if its just a few crack!lines here and there. Contact: most reliably through email, but being the modern-age-type person I am I do have a nifty iPod touch with a nifty AIM app so I'll probably respond. Unless I'm like out in the woods somewhere (unlikely) or my wifi's being dumb (more likely.)

Mm, Dark Markers, they are the sexy. :-) Or so says Simon here, in an uncharacteristic attempt at... umm... bad-assery. Please, don't get used to it. Simon is not a bad ass!

Small backtrack. Hi! I'm Randi. A little about me: in school (woo.) and I work at Dennys (... uh, woo.) and I haven't really played HP before on IJ, but I did a little on LJ. MWPP-era is new to me. I'll try not to screw things up too much. If anyone wants to get a hold of me, I'm at RandiKot on AIM. I try to leave it on most of the time, but if I don't answer (for awhile anyway) its probably because I didn't hear it or because I'm not actually in front of my computer then.

Ok, so who cares about me. You probably want to know more about my boy here. Simon Boot. Not the future father of Terry, FYI. That would be his older brother's Stewart's thing. Simon is gay, gay, gay. Closeted but gay. Did I mention he's gay? Gay. Yeah, can't stop saying it. Apparently he is the only other fully gay male character in the game, except for Horace! Or, of course, Dumblydore.

Incidentally, if anyone has ever seen or played a straight Mitch Hewer, I'd like a show of hands. Cause he's zero for six billion from whatever I've seen.

I'm getting off track here. Simon's a year six Ravenclaw, so Benjy, Gilderoy and Paul all sleep with him. No, I don't mean sleep with him! They just sleep with him. Anyway, Simon's your typical bookwormy, artistic-eccentric. And, he's a Muggleborn. So any Purist who comes near him, let me assuage your fears. If you're near him and he's a Muggleborn, does that give you cooties? Don't worry. Yes! It does. Voldemort should cruciatus curse your sorry ass right now.
