Who: Gilderoy Lockhart and James Potter (♥!) and Sirius Black (dumb) Where: Library When: December 1st, A bit after dinner What:Gilderoy knows where the library is? Still 90% less awkward than James courting Lily! Rating: ULTRA-R!....or you know... PG.
Gilderoy was ecstatic! Sure, James had agreed to go with him before, and Sirius Black, the sort better kept anonymous source lacked a social life to the point that it was impinging upon theirs. But this time was different. Gilderoy could feel it. Maybe it was the Christmas spirit in the air. Maybe it was something else.
He had hurried to the library, though to be honest, it was not a place the sixth year had spent significant amounts of time in the past few years. He did, contrary to popular belief, know where it was. It was where one day his books would be proudly displayed--he knew where that was. He had managed to change three times without disarraying his hair. He had checked that too. He didn't want to admit it, but he was a little nervous. Despite the fictions that ran like truth through his little head, things didn't didn't often work out his way.
Gilderoy smoothed out the parchment rolled out before him once more, prettily arraying it between the garish pen and violet inkstand. It was going to be a great essay for.... Transfiguration. That was probably it. He nearly jumped out of his skin as the library doors swung open--but it was just that boring plain girl.
