Gideon had awoken to a light snowfall this morning. Like most students, Gideon enjoyed the first snowfall - the innocence, happiness, and all around goodness it portrayed. Of course, as the winter stretched longer and longer, Gideon stopped liking the snow and start longing for the summer weather. The only thing bad about summer was the sun's painful powers; Gideon had yet to go a summer without getting badly burned. Luckily he was a wizard, and that meant he could be healed & soothed quite quicker. Gid couldn't imagine the pain muggles must go through. Maybe that's why they hated wizards so much, could they be jealous? Gideon's theories about muggles changed daily, and this one wouldn't last any longer than the others.
While lunch had been fantastic, Gideon wasn't the type to sit around and chat when he was done eating. It was mostly girls who did that, and Gideon could only talk to girls for so long without getting nervous. Leaving the Great Hall, Gideon looked around for his twin and found nothing. Where had Fabian vanished of to? Probably with some bird, was Gideon's best bet. Molly would have a heart attack if she knew what Fabian got himself into. With a smile on his face, Gideon turned the hall and started aimlessly walking. He didn't have class for a few hours, and what better to waste time than getting lost in Hogwarts?
As Gid turned down a hallway, he was stunned at how bright it was. Moving towards a window, he noticed the sun peaking out from clouds in the distance - it must be reflecting off the falling snow here. Raising his hand, Gideon placed it on the window pane. It was awfully cold, but Gideon missed being outside. Hell, they all missed being outside. With a sigh, Gideon let his hand fall downwards, as he watched the condensation drip.
