Her life was not established whatsoever. Inconsistent and unable to make up her mind, Irene was never capable on a set idea. However, she never worried. In her mind, she had her entire life ahead of her, and enough time to figure out what she was going to do with it. Her father was nothing but encouraging and supported almost everything Irene had set her mind into. Albeit, he did attempt to sway her towards the medical field of the muggle world. Needless to say, Irene was never in the right mental state to carry such a job. Lately, she has been aspiring to become a teacher, but somehow that probably would be replaced with a thought of becoming an alien hunter of that sorts.
Caught in her reverie, she was hauled away from the sudden voice. Only then she noticed that she and Cassandra were the only two girls left in the room. Lifting up her head, she smiled at the other girl. “Interesting? I think so, if you count daydreaming about extraterrestrial hunting and expeditions interesting.” Not exactly the most normal answer, but it was well known that Irene was not normal. Almost sheepish about the impulsive answer, she chuckled gauchely. “Sorry. My mind can be rather random at times.”
She closed up her book and gathered her brunette hair between her palms to have it situated just over her shoulder. “How are you, Cassandra? I notice that you weren’t at all engrossed into the lecture as well.” Of course Irene would notice. Irene was aware of everything in her surrounding, minus the one thing she wanted to block out. “Anything interesting in your mind as well? I do notice that it’s very difficult to pay attention in this class,” she said with a sigh.
