Who: Molly, Andromeda, and Alice. Where: Gryffindor When: Early, early morning. Why: Mother Molly takes care of everyone.
Dealing with tragedy had never been one of Molly’s strongest suits, especially when the tragedies involved those she cared about. Ted Tonks had helped her through a very difficult time in her recent life, during the drama with Arthur, and she felt much closer to him recently because of it. Now, she wanted nothing more than to help him through the traumatic experience he was living through currently. Unfortunately, she simply didn’t know what she could do.
The now ever-present reminders of how easy life could be taken were weighing heavily on her, and had brought out her maternal instincts in full-force. It was therefore likely more that natural urge than anything that had brought her from her dormitory down into the common room so early. As she reached the bottom of the staircase, a glimpse around the room allowed her to catch sight of a dark-headed figure curled in a chair. Curiously, she grabbed a blanket before moving closer to cover the girl before realizing that it was Andromeda.
Sighing a bit to herself as she looked sadly down to the pitiful looking girl, she draped the blanket over her before kneeling down beside her. “Andromeda,” she whispered gently, not wanting to startle her. “Andromeda, dear. Wake up.” She couldn’t help but feel that this was how she could help Teddy. The recent revelation of his relationship with Andromeda had led to her being essentially abandoned by her family. So perhaps she could help the younger Slytherin cope, something she hoped Ted would appreciate.
“You need to wake up, sweetheart.” On the whole, most Gryffindors would not have thought too much on having Andromeda in their common room. From what Molly could see, the girl had gained a bit of support among her house in particular. However, she didn't want to run to risk of one of her few less-than-accepting housemates finding Andromeda first.
