Who: Lucius Malfoy and Dorcas Mullet Where: Prefect's Lounge When: Sunday, October 7, 4.30 pm What: Lucius cozies up to an auror. Rating: PG
Lucius had not finished his essay, but he had finished his thought and sought out a house elf to set together the perfect tea. He honestly didn't much care for the exquisitely British ritual, but he knew women fancied it, and the auror--perhaps through Dumbledore's folly--was a woman.
The prefect's lounge was empty--not an uncommon occurrence. Lucius, for his part, hardly ever used it. Many prefects were the same--particularly on the weekends. Although anywhere indoors was becoming more frequented under their newest restrictions. Those restrictions were actually the reason Lucius had sought ought what should be his natural enemy. That and his task assigned by the Dark Lord.
He had hoped Blake would have responded, knowing only minimal information on her from Horace--she had been former Slug Club, but he had not gathered much else. Dorcas Mullet he knew of extensively, from her gossipy younger sister. Domineering, Ravenclaw, and sister of... at least three. He supposed she was also the former partner of Professor Williamson. She seemed friendly from his experience, perhaps the most easily attacked. He could only make assumptions. He hoped he could win her.
Turning on the charm which earned him his title, Lucius adjusted the pastries on a tray laid out carefully by the elf as he waited for Hogwarts' newest champion to arrive.
