Who Hestia Jones and Ryland Potter Where Mr. Potter's office What Tutoring. :) When After dinner.
Incapable of really explaining the feeling of butterflies that filled her at the thought of spending any sort of time with Ryland Potter, Hestia played around with her dinner mostly, not all that hungry. She couldn’t really point out the first time she’d realized her little crush, though it likely went all the way back to her second year, when he was still in school. He was different than most of the guys she felt any sort of interest in. He was quiet and reserved, not at all her usual type. The five-year age difference, though it didn’t provide much a problem in her perspective, was the issue. Well, that and the fact that she wasn’t at all sure if he had similar feelings. So she simply contented herself with looking (even though he generally almost ignored her in class) and squeezing out these occasional meetings.
As soon as she noticed the first wave of departing students, Hestia began packing her things to make her exit towards the side of the castle where Mr. Potter’s office was located. Adjusting the strap of her bag over her clothing (she still wore her uniform of a white blouse and black pants, though they appeared a bit relaxed at this point in the day), Hestia actually hesitated uncharacteristically and a bit awkwardly outside of his office before raising her hand to knock on his door, peeking in shortly thereafter and offering a smile. “I hope I’m not too early, Mr. Potter,” she offered, her usual casual (and slightly teasing) tone disguising the nervous feeling racing through her.
