WHO: Hestia and Sirius WHAT: Faaaaalling. WHEN: Before lunch WHERE: Entrance hall
Truthfully, Hestia was ridiculously impressed with Sybill’s likely inadvertent cleverness. After all, if a person is seriously planning to pursue a career of spouting nonsense off and believing every word of it, what better way to get started than to predict something that happens almost every day? At this point in her 7 years, it was a well-known fact that Hestia Jones was potentially the clumsiest student at Hogwarts. She’d embraced this fact and rarely heard much grief over it anymore. Most of those she encountered and graced with her lack of grace didn’t notice much anymore.
This in mind, she was mostly amused by Sybill’s ‘prediction’. She genuinely liked the girl, though, and found her far too entertaining to be rude in response. Instead, she’d decided to play along and chalk each of her falls for the day up to Sybill, the amazing Seer.
The first didn’t come for an unusual amount of time, her feet waiting until she was on her way down to lunch before deciding that that moment exactly would be the perfect moment to tangle themselves up and propel her down towards the floor of the entrance hall. In hindsight, she’d be amazing at the acceleration she managed to pick up during her flight. At the moment, though, she let out a somewhat breathless sound and closed her eyes, preparing for the inevitably rough impact.
