Who: Lucius Malfoy and Hestia Jones What: Oh, a random encounter mostly. The K/Christie/ys were bored. ;) Where: The Great Hall When: late evening, 20 September (following her journal entry)
In reconsidering her actions, Hestia slightly reprimanded her lack of thought in publishing an open request for the book she was missing. Given the fact that she and Malfoy had prepared for Charms together on occasion in the past, she really ought to have asked him specifically before broadcasting the need. In spite of his rather unfortunate belief system, Malfoy was generally not horrible to be around (to her, at any rate) and made for an excellent study partner. They usually tended to keep off the subject of politics and focused their efforts on whatever task they intended to accomplish.
Somewhat hoping (potentially in vain) that he’d be in a pleasant enough mood to be coaxed into helping her finish her essay, Hestia packed her notes up fifteen minutes following their brief conversation and made her way to the Great Hall to meet him. Even though it was quite late in the day, she’d not yet made the change from her school uniform and instead simply wore it casually for comfort. No need to try and impress the Head Boy, after all.
Arriving with a few minutes or so to spare, Hestia settled herself at the end of one of the long tables, stretching her legs and yawning just a bit as she waited, her mind full of distracting thoughts.
