WHO: Definites, Sirius, etc. No Slytherins!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the occasional exception, of course. WHAT: PARTAY. WHERE: The upside-down room. WHEN: Whenever Sirius said it was going to be. WHY: Because Sirius is a social drinker. RATING: PG-R. Mark your threads accordingly. STATUS: Ongoing. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We are all big kids, so we know how to thread. But it would be helpful, if you're going to start an offshoot from the thread, if you labeled who the thread would be with and the expected rating. It helps us keep track. Otherwise, if you think about it, a time would also be helpful. :) Thanks!
It was late, but not too late. He was done with most of his classes--he'd just have to miss History today. Bummer. He traveled from his house in his party outfit, an interesting shirt with some rather flamboyant colors, and a bag that offered a myriad of questionable things. It was packed full to the brim with party things, as he had ruined Sirius' usual party spot and would now be making it up to him by setting up the current party. Since it was a beach theme, he had ordered quite a few things in addition to whatever Black-Potter had come up with himself.
He arrived at the room that he usually only shared with Madelen and felt a little guilty. He felt like he was giving up a portion of their relationship to the rest of the school, but he had to. It was important that he pay back Sirius. It was the least he could do.
And within the hour, just after three, he had the room spelled for sound, smell, and the windows were blocked so that no one could see in. If they did, they'd see a bunch of students upside-down, however, which would be cause for concern on its own. By the time Sirius arrived, everything was set up. There were bowls of food that would never go empty. There were bowls of punch, already spiked. And there were piles of beach memorabilia.
The floor was covered in sand. There was an ocean in the corner. The room was naturally hot, but the 'sun' in the corner seemed to beat down on them. There were conjured seagulls that were squabbling over chips and stations for sand castle building. Everything screamed 'beach'. He stepped back from his work and was proud. He spread sunscreen stripes over his cheeks and gave himself the coloration of someone who had spent a little too much time in the sun. He stripped down to his swimming trunks and sandals, the former had squids, dancing squids. And in his bag was his squid hat that he would don when Glenda arrived.
"Alright then," he grinned. "Let the party begin!" he announced to the empty room before he started a record and began to dance by himself.
