Sirius rolled his eyes at the suggestion of a name change. "Naw, if I legally change my name, that'll give them too much credit. At this point I've left willingly, but changing it legally means they chased me out. Bunch of wankers, really. Close-minded tossers." When it came to Blacks, Sirius had absolutely nothing good to say. He loved his cousin, and loved that she was standing up for herself, but otherwise the whole family was nuts. Except for his Uncle Alphard, but since good old Alphard had been blasted off the tree, he didn't count as a Black anymore. Sirius felt a bit guilty over that, Uncle Alphard didn't have to give him money, and yet Walburga was all about burning that stupid tapestry.
"Higgs?" Sirius questioned. That wasn't great - she was probably a Slytherin then. And quite possibly related to the Higgs that was in school. The Higgs that had sent him that amazing Christmas present. What the hell was this family playing at? "Mean you're related to Tanner then, huh? Everyone at this damn school is interrelated."
Sirius scoffed at Juliette's statement about her subject. "I'd only be interested if you did less math and more field trips to pyramids and ruins," Sirius replied, purposely messing up the subject name. Ancient Ruins would be a cool class, Ancient Runes was a sucky class. "Enthusiasm only when it comes to learning things that will help me get along. Like charms and transfiguration, I can't be pranking the school proper without a solid magic foundation."
