He didn't bother to say hello. Shrouded in darkness, he had her where he wanted her when she stepped into the passageway to their hiding place. It took seconds for his hands to find her face and then travel lower, handling her hips as he grabbed her lips with his own and passionately told her off for being a few moments late. He hated that they had to be secretive, but there was no other way. It was this or nothing at all. His hands moved to find purchase in her hair, his fingers tangled delightedly in the strands and clung there as he held her close and asked for her attention for just a few seconds more. He was trying to fill the void with the love she could offer him. Because her love mattered. And it was going to heal him, he thought. He wanted it to.
They pulled apart with a sigh and he nuzzled her cheek with his face, something of a purr remained in his throat as he took her hand and led her forward into the darkness and through the tunnel that eventually led to their normal spot. It was dark and quiet, but warm and there were places to rest. It obviously wasn't used often, but it could have been an old teacher's lounge. He liked that there were chaise lounges. They were ever so useful.
