"I've been looking forward to this all break," Regulus murmured, just staying close to Rabastan. Reveling in the shared warmth of their bodies, feeling the steady flutter of Rabastan's heart against his chest.
They could be together like any other couple. They could hold hands, and dine together and be affectionate the way that they wanted to in public. They could walk along the beach and just be. Without judging eyes watching them, without whispered words passing along.
"And this room is just great," he added with a smile. Regulus didn't smile as often these days, and it was really only Rabastan that he smiled around, Rabastan who got to see those smiles that just lit up his face and made him look free and unweighted by stress and worry.
