Marlene gave a soft smile in a manner of gratitude; praise should always be acknowledged. All the way to the glass hallway they’d been chatting with an air of importance that surely could not escape the students’ eyes. She herself made it very clear that she didn’t intend to assist to a class, but rather to an exclusive event of which she was the only guest.
Lene was visibly amazed by the pain the elves had taken to redecorate the place; she knew it hadn’t been Gilderoy himself when she noticed a spoon out of place and one of the fabric napkins to be paler than the rest. Yet she appreciated the accommodations immensely, the adornments where very classy and resembled a bit of a French style. Her impression was to be on an elegant tearoom in Paris for once, a luxury she’d never been able to afford during those dark years of hers.
“This is adorable mon chere!” She was quite in ecstasy with the elegance and good taste, and also because she couldn’t imagine he’d take so much interest in her. Sure she was used to the finest tea parties but this was specifically done for her, a consideration that moved her considerably.
“I find this quite agreeable, you shouldn’t have bothered” She offered as she sat ceremoniously.
