Mutants rule, humans are being hunted and Sebastian Shaw is President while the X-Men are branded terrorists. Charles and Erik are doing their best to make a safe haven for the newly discovered mutants and to keep them from Shaw but danger is knocking at their door; the barest essentials are in short supply, there isn't enough food to go around. Free mutants and human's are targeted by Shaw's resistance task force, elite mutants who have been trained to track and apprehend threats and to recruit mutants to Atom, the new government power house. In the Reavers a new and different player has entered the field, as an anti mutant group compromised of humans who seek to reclaim their throne. Fights are daily, everyday life is non-existent. Atom is set in 1964, in a post apocalypse setting following real time. The game is canon compliant up until the point where the X Men stopped the Soviets from crossing into Cuba's waters. Is anyone out there as obsessed with Jack the Ripper and the Victorian era as I am? I've always been fascinated with killer and the slums he used as his hunting ground. Because I've been sick lately and had loads of time on my hands, I've been rewatching Buffy, and Giles being referred to as 'Ripper' set my mind working. I'd love to find a line where Giles really was the Ripper, so if anyone is as fascinated as I am with the whole thing, please get in touch. Looking for people who are really interested in the era and also happy with time slips from the present to allow the characters to revisit those times. Bonus points for anyone who'd like to tie the Winchesters and Cas into the whole thing somehow. If you'd be interested in something like this, please PM me or comment at my journal. |

Carnaval de la Lumière is a panfandom game set in a depression era (1930s) traveling carnival. We accept fandom and original characters alike.
