It is a story everyone knows very well. It has been told and retold numerous times, sometimes in awe and sometimes in anger. It is the story of Harry Potter and Lord Voldermort. It is difficult, riddled with uncertainty, disappointment and pain. While some feel it is their life others feel that there is more out there than a world full of war and constant struggles. It is those select few that want to change the ending that is being written and forge a new destiny.

Collision explores the duality embodied within the universe. On one side there is Lord Voldermort and his supporters and it seems like they have everything they could want; they have control of the Ministry of Magic, they have control of Hogwarts and they are winning the war. They have everything but the elusive Harry Potter, the final piece that would assure them a checkmate over their opponents. Then there is the Order of the Phoenix struggling to overcome the darkness in hopes of creating a more perfect place. A place of equality and hope but they are losing, losing terribly. They know the time has come for one last stand, one last push against their adversary. The time has come to determine once and all win control of the future.

Collision is an AU Post-Warts Harry Potter game that is canon up to Trio's Gringotts break-in and runs in real time. It is focused on the War and the struggles between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters, the fight for the remaining Horcruxes and control over Wizarding society as a whole.

How the occupants come to the hotel is always a little different, but the same key details are always the same. A person suffers an extremely long period of bad luck – it could be a week, it could even be months. At some point in the chaos, an opportunity is presented to them. A job offer. A new deal. A new identity. Whatever the person feels they need most presents themselves – if they’re willing to travel to get it. Sometimes they’re told to go to California, sometimes it’s Vegas, but the trip is doomed from the start. Connecting flights will be canceled. Rental cars will break down in the middle of the Mojave desert. Phone signals go out. Batteries die. There’s no choice but to walk it. The details of the journey differ, but the end result is always the same.
