Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries.
The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust.
It's war, but no one seems to know it.
The game is set in 2002 currently. Gellert has recently acquired a painting of Albus Dumbledore done as the portrait for when he was headmaster. The portrait hangs in his steady at his home, but there is no plans for Albus to only stay a portrait forever. What will anyone do when Gellert uses magic to bring back the former lover that he murdered in cold blood over half a decade previously to stand by his side during his reign? The plots also focus on relationships of current characters that unfold.

West River is an Original Character RPG based in fictional West River City, Pennsylvania. This RPG will be focusing on the daily lives of humans and the various supernatural creatures hidden among them. We are looking forward to a diverse and unique cast, as well as to a friendly, creatively fulfilling and character-oriented atmosphere. While we will feature community wide plots from time to time, we welcome our writers to make their character's own fortune and fates in the world presented for them. West River will not be for the faint of heart, however. There will be darker themes explored within this community, so we ask that all of our writers are at least 18 years of age.
Game opens on Feb. 7th or with the first ten applications.

A deck of cards is built like the purest of hierarchies...
In a place secluded from the world by ancient, forgotten magic is a society like none other. The rank and file of day to day life is filled with the wonder of an age long past, but peppered by the influence of the modern world; where intrigue is taught from a young age and lies are served with tea.
It is a society built on old traditions and esoteric rules. Here Kings and Queens still reign over their Suits and everyone has an agenda. Where Spades look over their shoulders, Hearts play coy, Diamonds glimmer like ice, and Clubs worry that the death of one king is but the beginning. This is The Deck.
