What's the skinny?
Who: Jack and Cameron
What: An interview
When: Tuesday, July 8th, Morning
Where: Her hospital room
Warnings: Jack's annoyance and inner cursing ;)
Cameron was thrilled. He'd somehow finagled his way past Jacqueline McCreary's father and into the room to see her. It only took a little waiting. Okay, a lot of waiting. Either way, he let himself into her room with a little knock of warning before pushing it open. She didn't look happy, laying there in that bed, annoyed. He almost wanted to smirk because she looked like she could break a glass with that aggravated look of hers.
"Hello, Ms. McCreery," he said. "My name is Cameron Louis. I'm with the Tribune," he explained. "I'm here on behalf of the paper, of course, to extend my deepest sympathies to you after the trauma you've experienced. We would also like to get your side of the story," he explained with a smile. He pulled up a chair without bothering to ask her. Before she could say anything, he let his eyes meet hers. "I spoke with your father outside. He said that you'd be more than happy to answer a few questions and give me a detailed account of what happened to you." If that didn't piss her off, he wasn't sure what would. No doubt the woman wasn't going to be happy about talking, but he always tried to do what he could to push buttons. If her father was guarding her, he was likely possessive and dominant. Which meant he ran things. His word was law and Cameron was going to use it to his advantage.
