Dale always felt so completely...connected when he did this. It felt good to feel the world around him heal. It was something that clearly he was meant to do. It always pained him when he knew he couldn't do something for the world around him. He'd been near an area once where they were clear cutting a small area of forest of development and the guilt and pain was too much to bare. Now at least, he was able to contain any sort of displeasure he'd endure when some of the nearby foliage was broken or hurt during their stay. He could fix it later, with the help of Diana.
Once the area that he was sitting in felt...good. At least better than it had before he stood up and walked towards Diana where she was doing her own thing. He didn't want to interrupt her but merely join her. It was hard not being drawn to her when they were healing, mostly because it felt so damn good.
He couldn't describe what the feeling was. Well, he could, but the words that he knew were somewhat...well probably inappropriate. There was something exciting about having your whole body lit up with a power that did good things to the earth. It was exhausting later, he knew he'd be sore after an evening of this and then driving part of the night to catch up to the rest of the company, but it was worth it, ever time.
Coming up behind Diana he stood behind her awash with her own glow and then he gently lifted his hands to trace down the skin of her arms with his fingers lightly. Sometimes Diana's power was too overwhelming when he was in contact with her, but the slightest touch was enough for him to feel just how much she had inside of her. It was amazing, truly.
