"Of course. You don't go into a haunted house expecting to be smiled at by the creatures scaring you." You always expect the growls and grimaces and the screaming and yelling. Smiling was completely out of left field, when you thought about it. She watched him smile and even if she knew that this particular bogeyman wouldn't hurt her, all those extra teeth still sent a shiver down her spine. "Have to keep it unexpected. And seriously...one of these days I'm going to have to take a stroll through the haunted house myself. See just how scary you are when you're in character." She chuckled some. "Even if it means possibly having a heart attack."
The switch in Tom's expression made it look like he was going to ask her something, so she waited to see just what it was. "Not overly often, but only because it's a pain to cover up completely. I don't like covering my scales." It was a personal preference and just the way she liked to do things. "But sometimes I'll suck it up, put on the long sleeved shirts and long pants and consciously keep my tongue in for the sake of just getting out of here."
