Vered was outside of his trailer for once, wandering around the grounds and just making sure no one got themselves hurt. Unfortunately for him, he happened upon the stampede of people, seeing tiny little Yuriko shoved into the crowd and even seeing her tail get wheeled on made him wince. The poor little werefox's yelp made him visibly upset, his heart wrenching and his eyes full of sadness and worry. He hated it when someone was hurt, especially someone innocent like Yuriko who had done nothing to deserve such pain and trauma.
He watched her dash off when she did, following the werefox's trail behind the tent. The faerie approached slowly, cautiously, not wanting to frighten her any more than she already was. In so many ways, she was just like her animal form even in her human body.
"Yuriko...?" His voice was quiet, and he tried his best to send out calm energy, non-threatening. Even if she did know him, that fear instinct was in full force. "It's Vered...I saw what just happened."
