She stared at her computer screen, watching the cursor flash, wanting to think of a reason to take it back, unable to do so. She had always used the "it's against my religion" excuse in the past, but now that would be a lie. She didn't know what she believed, what was true, what was just a story or what was fact. So, what was her reason to not drink? She didn't have one, so tonight, she'll drink.
She wrote down the instructions "red and purple trailer, possibly with a snake out front" she cringed a little, knowing he said it was only eight feet and wouldn't hurt her. Ha! Only eight feet... only. She shook her head a little, grabbed a jean jacket and headed to her door. Her laptop placed upon her bed, which had been made hours earlier. She had a roommate now and wanted her to know that she wasn't a slob. She didn't always put her clothes away, or her make-up brushes, but for the most part she keep her space neat and tidy. It was controlled and it was safe.
Her body was adorned with pair of skin-tight; dark blue jeggins and a black tank top covered with a slightly baggy, plain white tee which she had custom made for herself. The sleeves had been torn off, the neckline adjusted so that one side fell off her shoulder and the bottom of the shirt had no hemline. She enjoyed looking a little original while still wearing what she felt to be hip and stylish. She had always been this way, which could be directly attributed to her lack of nice clothing as a child. She had to embellish and improvise. You couldn't exactly wear a shirt you know your mom got at a church flea market to school, when you knew that someone from your class probably threw it away. However, if you make it almost unrecognizable it was fair game.
Wandering around at night was a no-no, or so she'd been told by a few, but this was someone she had never physically met and felt needed company. She wasn't about to let him be alone, not when he was hurting so badly. Willing to talk to her about it. A total stranger. He didn't owe her anything, but he opened up and he was nice to her. Nice enough to invite her over to continue the conversation... in a drunker atmosphere. She thought she was happy to oblige. Life was for experiencing, was it not? She didn't hesitate in the response, only afterward.
She found it, and he was right. She couldn't have missed it even if she had tried. A purple and red trailer. She looked around and was happy she didn't find a snake nearby. With a quick knock on the door, she waited for him to open it or the go ahead to ''come on in''.
