Who Bella and OPEN What Exploring When Sunday Evening Where The carnival grounds Rating TBD Status Incomplete, Open
Bella could still taste the nicotine breath of her current girlfriend on her breath as she walked around the grounds, surveying the entire scene. She'd been with this woman for almost a week now, and it was time for her to move on. The woman was clingy, she would cry, but really, Bella couldn't care less. She had more important things to think about than a needy, nearing middle-aged woman. Like the exact reason she had been drawn to this place. She had heard via some posters that had been thrown up around town that there was a carnival, and the types of things that were expected to be there, but what had originally been her showing up out of curiosity of the place, was now somewhat an obsession. She had to see everything that was going on, she had to know everything.
A lot of what she'd seen so far was standard of all carnivals - games with cheap looking prizes to win, sideshows promising the weird and the wonderful, and stalls selling food that was so obviously bad for you - and though it was all cliche, Bella loved it all. She didn't play the games, but the stalls selling things had her drawn in, and she perused them, staring at every single item. She stopped for a while at a stall that promised to sell voodoo dolls, and that piqued her curiosity, but soon that too had her wandering away, wondering what next to do. She had yet to speak to anyone who looked like they were a part of the carnival, but she wanted to - and she certainly didn't want the place to close, nor did she want to go back to her temporary home. No, the next time she went to that place she would be picking up her things and moving on...well, hopefully to here, if all things went well. As long as she could find a way in. She stopped at someone who had their back turned, and tapped them on the shoulder, waiting impatiently for them to turn around.
