Faith in and with doctors

Doctors practicing their faith

As I went through the article, my opinion fluctuated. At first, I didn't mind because well, as long as they're open about it - Hi, I'm Dr. Doom and I practice medicine and pray to Jesus!! - then what's the big deal. But, just as the crisis pregnancy centers do, they might not always give you all the options or refer you to someone else, lest they be complicit in murder (abortion) or something else. In my mind, if you're going to practice medicine, you should do it without imposing your morals or superstitions onto the patient. The patient should get ALL the information, and then do what they like with it. You don't have to perform abortions, or hand out birth control, etc. But to practice medicine as if those things do not exist, as if they are not options in health, and to possibly give out faulty information (birth control equals abortion), I don't think that's right.

(as an aside, anyone have hints or tips for how to deal with seeing an advert in the ladies' room asking for clothing or volunteers for the local crisis pregnancy center? I want to just rip it off the wall, but the person who put it up works in my office LOL)
