Hey hi hellooo...!

I'm Jill, and I bring you Adelaide, a 22 year old Tennessee native who was living in Boston just before things went bad with a husband and a brand new baby boy. Adelaide is Rodeo's estranged sister, and was in town to see him in the hospital when things went bad. Nobody from home knows about either husband or baby for Reasons, and thus Addie hasn't mentioned it in general so it is possible she has come off sort of closed off, though generally pleasant. She doesn't know that her husband and baby are alive at Garfield. She would definitely be on the lookout for kindred-type souls to connect with, though, so would love some allies!

She is a homey creature with a spine of steel, willing to help out if she finds herself in a position to though her strengths before all this were more of an aesthetic variety. She has probably volunteered to help organize supplies, and can cook up something edible from very little. Feeding people was always one of her favorite pastimes. She's smart, and has a knack for thinking a plan out to the end and seeing potential pitfalls, and has spent a lot of her free time since the end practicing with a set of looted throwing knives in the hopes of becoming a bit more useful.

Hellooo everyone! I am Kat and this fella I bring you is Sarge. He is Rodeo’s best friend he avenged with a double homicide and somehow he manages to blame himself for it because that's what he does.

Deep down inside he is a very caring and protective person but that's one of his best kept secrets. At least he thinks so. On the outside he's very much the stereotype of gruff criminal type, the one with all the muscles and a little less brain and he's okay with that because people tend to underestimate him. In general he's quiet around new people (especially women because he might be a little shy unless plied with drinks) and he is quite easily provoked, which is usually something reserved for the male half of humanity. He came to Seattle to worry over Rodeo and when the world ended he didn't even think about leaving because he was with his most important people already.

So I'm more than thrilled to be here and I promise that he's an entertaining sort of guy so let's plot and play and all the good things!

Greetings! I'm Codie, and I come bearing bad news-- or, as he likes to call himself, Rodeo. Formerly a mechanic and a man of crime, this 31 year old Tennessee native hasn't revealed much about his past to the other survivors. And with good reason, because his past happens to include a slightly infamous double homicide that took place in Seattle in 2005. Rodeo spent several years leading up to the infection serving his life sentence for the murder of Jonathan Straely and his friend, Lawrence Green, who happened to be an off-duty Seattle police officer at the time that Rodeo gunned him down in Straely's apartment. He wound up at Swedish Hospital just in time for the apocalypse thanks to a brutal shanking from another inmate, and in the commotion of the world ending he was abandoned by the corrections officers assigned to him at the hospital. So far he has been living amongst the other survivors undetected, with no one realizing there is a convicted cop killer in their midst. But I have a feeling the truth is going to catch up with him sooner or later, and hopefully it will cause a stir!

Anyway, I'm excited to plot with y'all! Rodeo is an incorrigible flirt towards the ladies and a grating alpha-male macho jerkface towards other men-types. I wouldn't be surprised if he's already made himself a couple of enemies, so throw some lines my way!

We will be rolling the week over tomorrow! We'd like to apologize for the slow start, but several players have had busy schedules and so we wanted to give some extra time. Don't worry if you can't get a scene up before tomorrow, as the use of flashbacks is always possible! Thank you.

Hi everyone! I'm Aurora, but I go by Ari on teh interwebs.

This is Jason, a medically discharged Army veteran (with issues that come with that) and middle child. He's from Tacoma, but ended up stranded in Seattle making a beer delivery. He's now at Swedish, so I'll need to hash out who he's acquainted with and all that jazz.

As for me, I'm a 30 year old warehouse receiver during the day, college student by night. With the pacing of this game I don't foresee any problems with me being around and available to thread. I will preface this by saying that I work early morning to early afternoon, and attend class at night, so the best times to catch me on AIM are mid to late afternoon, otherwise, hit up my contact post or email.

My school runs on 5 week modules, so I'm switching classes every 5 weeks. It's crazy and I both love and hate it. I have about a year and a half left on my bachelor's degree. But I do know that I am gearing into moving into junior and senior level classes, and my course load has the potential to get heavier. I'm an Animation major, and next month I kick off my thesis project, which will take me through the rest of my degree. SO EXCITE OMG.

That being said, don't be afraid to remind me if I have a line with you and it's been idle for too long. :)

Hey guys! I'm Tal and I'm new to the game. I thought I'd make a fresh intro post instead of tagging onto one from a few days ago. I bring you this dude right here, John Sciarra, who's an ER doctor at Swedish Hospital and uh kind of a jerk. (I was going back and forth on whether to start with him or to app a nicer character but I decided to go with the friction.) He has a pretty sharp tongue and is not the most comforting presence, but he does care a lot about doing his job. So plots are welcome!

Basic "about me" stuff, I live in Canada (about equidistant from Ottawa and Montreal) and I'm a copyeditor who works in the late afternoon and evening. I get pretty bored on slow news days when I don't have many articles to edit, hence RP. And I love me some zombie/apocalypse business. I stopped actively watching Walking Dead after the end of S2 but I still have way too many opinions about it.

Anyway, hello!

Since we're just starting, we figured we'd introduce ourselves and our characters and give you guys an idea of the things we're thinking about. We'd love to hear the players' ideas for major and minor plot arcs. Feel free to post here or you can start your own intro threads.

Some of the big plot ideas we've been kicking around are an earthquake, Swedish hospital being completely overrun or destroyed, and even a disease outbreak. We'd love to hear the ideas you have for what you'd like to see the characters deal with.

But glad to be spending the zombie apocalypse with you. :)
