In Westerville itself, the conditions are probably in the category of "fun" extreme weather, at least for the students. Probably the absolute worst they'll get would be some flickering lights and traffic accidents as people forget how to drive on slick roads, plus all the leaves come down and maybe some branches, maybe a tree or two. School almost certainly WON'T be canceled, at least not for Dalton, unless the administration says "aww, whatever, they can have the day." There's not even thunder and lightning.
The problems are definitely in the NYC area, so any boy with family there is probably really worried. Any place on the shore would have the storm surges to deal with.
