NOTE: You have about 12 hours left since I probably won't start on the voting until after lunch or so! It would be a rather small poll with only 2 sets entered so far.

Late Sign Ups!
* If there are fewer than 8 people signed up by the time the prompts are posted, the sign up will stay open until the due date.
* Those signing up late, will have less than 20 days available for 20 icons as they have to follow the same due date!
Additionally, there will only be one claim per person per round.

Rules
• You can claim whatever you want:
- RL People/Couples/Groups: actors/actresses, singers, athletes,...
- TV Shows: entire shows, seasons, episodes, characters, pairings,...
- Movies: entire movie (movie series: complete or one out of several), characters, pairings,...
- Minor Characters (i.e. one character of a movie/tv show with only a handful scenes that don’t give enough screencaps to make a complete set with) maybe be combined
- Pairings/Couples: Het and Slash are both welcome! Moresomes as well, but it might be more difficult to make icons for them.

• You are not allowed to claim whatever you claimed in the previous round again.
• Nothing can be claimed twice in one round.
• Please be aware that you only have 20 days to make 20 icons: If you don’t think you’ll be able to do that, please leave others the chance to claim it (not that I anticipate a lot of trouble here with how much can be claimed)
• Please note, that if a claim is not fulfilled, you won’t be allowed to claim anything in the following round (may change depending on the number of participants)

All ten themes done now just category and AC's 5 of which are already cropped and colored, just needs to be resized since I color at 300 by 300....

Most of the time I re-tag your entries anyway since you tend to use only one of the two round tags. I'm convinced that you switch between which one you don't use though ;D

... now I just have to be a bit more patience with my comptuer... ever since my anti-virus program started the daily scan I can only save one icon at a time! (the menu to pick "save to" from just won't appear until the previous one is saved... :()... meaning I have two "b" bookmarks left.

Well, I'm considering re-doing the tagging anyway. Considering the chances of something being re-used can be pretty slim on occassion, I considered that maybe instead of the fandom I should just tag the big topics (e.g. movies, tv, actor, music or whatever else comes up) instead of the "smaller" ones (e.g. Doctor Who, JC Chasez or whatever). In that case I should just have to re-tag pretty much every post :D

Maybe I should add it into the info post. It's the same as I'm using for season20in20 though ;D

I'm nearly done with "c" now... and I already feared "c" would never actually end. Surprisingly, I only encountered one locked post so far. On the other hand, there were plenty of bookmarks I deleted without taking a single icons since I didn't like any of them any more ;D

Perhaps only giving names to fandoms that have shown up a certain amount of times...

That could be an option as well.

Genre sounds nice as well, but that would involve a bit more research (especially for shows/movies I don't know)

I think so far "a" had the most bookmarks. Some don't have that many bookmarks either (while I have 3 left of "g" there are only 11 or so of "h", but 34 of "s" and "t" looks just as much ;D) and I did end up a bit less distracted later on after I switched to a music channel before eventually turning it off.

There's always that... but I'd probably be too lazy for that ;D

I wouldn't say almost done... I have 3 left of "p" ("q" only has 3) and then I get to those huge batches of "r","s" and "t" (and I think I still have some of your posts in there ;D). I can hardly look at them any more... It's starting to feel like a chore... oh well, once I'm done I can pick new icons to upload for my userpics :D

Are they under fandoms or are they under maker names... :-P

I have to add some new icons from my icons made by immortalje (you are the only one who gets their own folder... everybody else gets put in a folder called icons not made by immortalje, and saved with the makers name in the file name.

The bookmarks are under their titles and as for the 6,300* icons on my computer... I sort them by fandom (and stock which then has further sub-categories (animals, nature, objects, people,...)) and then I have a folder for every single maker. It's the easiest way for me to know who to credit :D
(I don't care to rename the filenames... I just leave them as they are ;D)

*I just checked the properties of the icon folder in my "by other" folder. It tells me exactly 6,300 (in 939 folders).. I think I might have to delete some icons there that I don't like any more... (or delete the fandoms I more or less quit/drifted away from... but I might end up back in then and would have to start collecting icons all over again ;p)

Wow! That's a lot of icons...

Then again every year or so I seem to wipe my hard drive just because.

So I don't know how many I'd have if I didn't do that!

I was rather surprised myself. I never would have expected to have this many by other makers :D
(Since I was suddenly curious I checked my "already published" folder for icons made by me: 9482 files in 356 folders. Oh Shit! - There could be doubles, but I hope I managed to get rid of most of them today... the same could be said for the by other folder... When I "broke" my old computer I saved everything onto my external hard drives, but also onto various usb sticks and then I put them back together from all those sources... *headdesk*)

Maybe I should try that, but there are icons I never want to lose ;D

Have fund doing science (and maybe you should hire Sherlock... his science experiments should at least be interesting ~~if not dangerous~~)

Doesn't have to be a head replacement... there are other methods for combining the two images... I have some vague ideas. I need to go bookmark that Nico gallery you linked me to. I am going to think of it as "I need an icon for Run when I work on that novel again" to remind me to do it. :)
