Which means I have to shift and move files...

Moving stuff around is always fun!
I'm just glad I have my two external hard drives were I can push things onto if I don't have enough left... although I might have to clean those up sometime soon. I did my mp3s some time ago and found plenty of doubles in there (even entire albums simply because of different naming conventions *headdesk*)

I moved my screencaps folder to the other smaller drive... that freed up 23.1GB which means I have space to install the textures that I've downloaded...

I'll have to got through and delete/adjust/find new homes for files.

One day I'll have to go through my music folders sobs...

Screencaps can take up a shipload of space!

I have to do the same... I have a couple of folders simply called "sort" or something like it. I don't want to know what's hiding in those!

I have to go through them again soon since I want to put some new music on my mp3 player. I hope I don't find any more files in double or even triple :D

I'll probably be deleting some of the Screencaps I'm not likely to use for a long time, especially if I own the movie/show etc... I'll also be ditching a number of old icons since they are all on Photobucket.... and then doing the same with old PSDs.

I'll have to put cleaning out my hard drive on the to do list.

It was down to 1GB no wonder the beast hasn't been performing so well.

I think I might have done that as well. Especially for the fandoms I'm currently not active in.

I'm hesitant to delete PSDs or old icons... even though most of them are pretty crappy (looking at them with my current skills... I noticed today while sorting my DW icons and saw new 10 icons next to older ones...)

Oh dear. I don't think I've ever reached that low with my computer hard drive (although my other ones are fair go in that regard!)

^_^ I'll have to go through my PSD's carefully a few of them I actually want to keep...

Part of my problem is my husband's games take up a lot of space, of course so do my screencaps.

While you are distracting yourself from Season's... hopefully... I've got 10 more left to make, feel free to make some icons for TW before I post up the voting tonight!

Damn... now I remembered I wanted to get the psd folder I put on my external hard drive before I left. Well I'll be back tomorrow for my sport course and can do it then... I've started sorting the icons I downloaded from others (and probably should empty that folder again in my bookmarks and save the new ones)

I've un-installed plenty of stuff (not just games) and I only have 3 games aside from the standard windows games by now: Age of Empires, Skat (card game) and Zoo Tycoon (which I rarely play and might just remove again)... I've put most of my screencaps onto my external hard drive leaving only those I want to sort before uploading... I think I'm too focused on using disparue.org to really check out what I have (or looking up the pictures I saved from icontests)

I have way more games than three... I'll probably download some of those too and reupload when I want to play....

I download from disparue so that I can just load the Adobe Bridge and browse...

I somehow never use the bridge... I pick my pictures through my default viewer and just pull it into PS from there :D
I think I might just be too set in my ways there :)

Before the bridge my option was the my pictures folder itself.

I love the Bridge, it's much better than the default windows viewer.

I will try. I'll see if I can start knocking them out tonight. I still don't have my new hard drive in place so I'll have to hope I don't lose anything along the way. Eeek.

I hope you don't lose anything! I know how that can suck.

At least I should still have access to the old HD for a while after I transfer things. I'm just in that headspace of complete panic over the whole process. And needing to get it done before the complete lack of swap space makes my Mac overheat!
